New cities on the under-$250 list include Milwaukee (and yes, they have "Schlemiel! Shle-mazel!" in the headline promoting it), Indianapolis, Omaha, Louisville, and Memphis (Graceland and whatnot).
Thus far, I remain uninspired.
Indianapolis.. well, we have a zoo, museums (of the art and children's variety), a few malls, a few bars. A few arenas. I think the Fever have a season going on.
But honestly, the Jazz Fest was this past weekend, and that would have been the event to attend if you were coming to Indianapolis.
Then again, maybe I'm jaded because I live here. I'd actually suggest that if you were serious about flying into Indy, that you rent a car and actually spend the time in Bloomington, about 45 mins. south of Indianapolis. It's got a ton of history and culture.
And also, if you come to Indy, email me, and I'll buy you a margarita. It's the least I can do for enjoying all your fabulous recaps! (Seriously, the boyfriend almost called me a Miss Alli Stalker because I started watching "The Apprentice" because you were doing the recaps. Of course, I came to love it.)
