Alli, do you disagree with Barry about pitchers being considered for MVP or just think he shouldn't make comments about limiting the candidate selection criteria when he is in the running?

I think it's both. But mostly, I think his comments about pitchers are ridiculous. Sure, you can say pitchers only play X many games per year, but they are involved in so many more plays per game than position players that I think trying to get into a smackdown over who is, over the course of a season, more "important" is kind of ridiculous. And I think that's what he's really getting at -- that position players are more important to a team than pitchers, which I think is crap.
