Congratulations to the Twins fans out there! You're the only one I know (or, more accurately, know of), so that would be a congratulations to you! If the players can keep the same relaxed attitude going through the next week, they should do well. I noticed during the first game that even when their defense was melting down into a big Minnesota shaped puddle, they didn't panic. Gardenhire had better get his due recognition. (Evidently, I've never seen the Twins play before; it took me several innings -- over more than one game -- to figure out that the TC on their caps did not mean Texas Christian University.) The games with Anaheim may or may not set any baseball records, but they will surely make up the loudest damn series in history.
