I don't disagree with this whole argument, really, but I'm thinking it's about fifty years too late to worry about it. Yes, TiVo is making commercials less attractive as a form of advertising. Yes, this will get worse. Yes, this means that advertising will get to us in other ways. Yes, there is an analogy to banner ads and pop-ups. Interesting.
