To make it even better, the Washington Post journalist who wrote about it openly mocked him for denying that he got fired and claiming that he was now working in an unnamed House member's office. My favorite part is the threat to call all (all!) his _parent's_ friends and get her blackballed from every "prestigous [sic] law school in the country."
