Oh, yes. Everything this article has to say about the Vet is true. And I, too, will shed a little tear at its demise. I saw a no-hitter there once with my father. One of the most exciting experiences of my entire life, bar none.

I read that article yesterday. It was dead-on accurrate. The Vet is a dump but it was PHILLY'S dump, so only we are allowed to make fun of it. The new stadiums are going to be like going to your neat-freak Aunt Millie's house: no fun. You can kick your feet up at the Vet. It was like Philly's living room.
